G-AEPP

Lockheed Electra 10A, number 1082, was delivered to British Airways Ltd., on February 23, 1937, where it was registered as G-AEPP. The aircraft flew until December 13, 1937, when, after experiencing engine problems, it attempted to land at night during a snowstorm at Croydon. Upon landing, the plane veered off the runway and collided with a fuel station, breaking in two before coming to rest. All four people on board the aircraft, two crew members, and two passengers managed to evacuate from the Electra with minor injuries.
